Underneath, she’s about women’s bodies, pleasure, shame, ageing, and the quiet shift from being the object of other people’s gaze to being the origin of your own choices.

I could have written a very serious book about all of that. But over years of working with women, I’ve seen that our deepest truths often come out when we’re allowed to laugh as well as cry.

Humour here is not about making light of your experience.
It’s a way of looking at it honestly without being swallowed whole.
